Gatotkaca (Sanskrit: घटोत्कच; Ghattotkacha) is a character in the epic Mahabharata known as the son or Wrekodara Bimasena of the Pandavas. His mother named Hidimbi (Harimbi) comes from the demon, so he was told to have extraordinary powers. The Origin and Meaning of Names

According to the version of the Mahabharata, is the son Ghatotkacha family Bimasena of Pandavas born of a female demon named Hidimbi. Hidimbi itself is a demon lord of a forest with his brother called Hidimba.
